Nutrition Counselling for Pets

Helping you choose the best foods for your pet's dietary needs.

Is your cat a picky eater? Are you having trouble deciding what nutrition your dog needs? Our veterinary nutritionists and veterinarians can help you find the right food and feeding schedule for your beloved pet. From sharing knowledge about eating habits and feeding schedules to nutrient and vitamin supplements and eating issues, we can help with it all.

What happens during a nutrition counselling session?

A nutritional counselling session is like a checkup on your pet’s diet and eating habits. The veterinarian will examine and ask questions about your pet’s diet, eating habits, and issues with eating and feeding and correlate them to any other diseases or illnesses they might have. Based on this evaluation, the vet might suggest changes to your pet’s existing diet that can help improve their health and quality of life. You can bring up any concerns that you might have or ask questions about commercially available food.

Can I feed cooked food to my dog?

Because of their ability to digest complex carbohydrates, it is easier for dogs to eat cooked food. You can feed them cooked food occasionally, but you must ensure it fulfills their nutritional needs.

What nutrients are necessary in a dog’s daily diet?

The most essential nutrients that must be included in a dog’s daily diet include water, proteins, fats, carbohydrates, minerals, and vitamins. These nutrients are necessary for basic functions and overall health.
