IN MEMORIAM
In Loving Memory of Sir Buckingham 2010 - 2025
Sir Buckingham, fondly known as Buck or Sir, was more than just a cat — he was family.
Buck’s journey began when he was adopted by a kind-hearted woman named Shauna through Annex Cat Rescue. He was no stranger to hardship. Born with three legs, FIV positive, and later losing his vision due to lens luxation and glaucoma, Buck faced every challenge with quiet strength and grace.
When Shauna passed away from cancer, she had made special arrangements to ensure Buck would be cared for by the team at Dundas Euclid Animal Hospital. We welcomed him without hesitation. From that moment on, Buck became our clinic cat — a comforting, constant presence who touched the hearts of everyone he met.
Despite everything he had been through, Buck was gentle, loving, and full of life. He gave the most sincere headbutts, purred with a volume that could fill a room, and always had an appetite for anything delicious — especially his beloved lickable treats. He had a way of making every day a little brighter.
Buck was our emotional support, our quiet companion during long shifts, and a reminder of resilience and unconditional love. His absence is deeply felt, but his spirit will always remain a part of our clinic family.
We miss you, Sir Buckingham. Thank you for everything.
